About me

Struggling with porn use, compulsive sexual behaviour, or patterns that feel out of control - even when you want to stop?

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working with individuals, partners, and couples dealing with compulsive behaviours, betrayal trauma, and neurodivergent overwhelm (including ADHD and AuDHD).

I provide compulsive sexual behaviour therapy online and support people who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand - including pornography use, affairs, or behaviours that are impacting relationships, trust, and wellbeing.

For partners, this may involve the shock and impact of betrayal trauma. For couples, it often involves working through trust breakdown, conflict, and whether repair is possible.

My approach combines psychotherapy with a brain-based understanding of how the nervous system responds under pressure, helping you not only understand your patterns but change how you respond in the moments that matter.

This is particularly helpful where insight alone hasn’t been enough to create change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP-aligned) and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

I have completed specialist training in compulsive sexual behaviour and partner betrayal trauma with The Laurel Centre (UK), alongside training in neurofeedback and neurotherapy through True Bearing Academy (USA), and neuromeditation training with Dr Jeffrey Tarrant.

My work integrates psychotherapy with a brain-based understanding of regulation, supporting clients where patterns feel out of control, insight alone has not been enough, or emotional and behavioural responses feel difficult to shift.

I have experience working with:

  • compulsive sexual behaviour, pornography use, and sex/porn addiction
  • partners affected by betrayal trauma
  • couples experiencing trust breakdown and relational distress
  • neurodivergent adults (including ADHD and AuDHD)

Additional clinical certifications include:

  • ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist
  • Clinical CBT Hypnotherapy

I am a registered member of the BACP and a member of the International Society for Neuroregulation & Research (ISNR). I am currently undertaking BCIA Board Certification in Neurofeedback.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

How I work

Many people come to therapy understanding their patterns - but still feeling stuck in them.

My work focuses not only on insight, but on helping you change how your system responds in real time.

I use an integrative approach combining:

  • psychotherapy (including schema-informed and relational work)
  • nervous system and brain-based understanding of regulation
  • practical tools to reduce overwhelm, impulsivity, and reactivity

This is particularly helpful if you:

  • feel out of control in certain behaviours
  • find yourself repeating patterns despite understanding them
  • experience strong urges, emotional swings, or shutdown
  • are navigating ADHD or neurodivergent overwhelm
  • are trying to rebuild trust after betrayal

Where appropriate, I may also integrate neurofeedback or neuromeditation, but this is always optional and not required for therapy.

I work in a non-judgemental, direct, and collaborative way, helping you understand what is happening beneath your behaviour - and build the capacity to respond differently.
