About me
I understand that seeking help can feel like a big step. It's perfectly okay to feel unsure at first, but taking that first step can often lead to positive change. I'm here to listen without judgement, and support you to find the best way forward. Counselling can provide you with the tools to manage anxiety, improve your mental well-being, and gain clarity on decisions. I am passionate about supporting people to live authentic, fulfilling lives and through a holistic, non-directive, client-centred approach, I aim to promote autonomy and self-empowerment. I offer a safe, compassionate, inclusive space where you can be yourself.
I work with adults with experiences including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, domestic abuse, Autism, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss. I believe that all people can heal and flourish, given the time, space and conditions to be truly seen, heard and valued. I am here to support you as you navigate this process of change. We can work together for a short or longer term, according to your individual needs.
Starting Therapy
Starting therapy may feel challenging, and I understand that taking the first step may feel particularly daunting. I can support you in this process and you can expect a kind, empathic and non-judgmental response to your enquiry. I offer a free 15-minute telephone call. We can work together for a short or longer term, according to your individual needs
Initial Assessment Session
In the first session, we will talk a little more about your reasons for seeking therapy, and what support you might need from a therapist. Following this, you may have a clear idea of whether you wish to continue with more sessions, or may need some time to reflect; finding the right therapist is important and I encourage you to take your time to consider what feels right for you.
Ongoing Sessions
Sessions typically take place once a week. With short term Counselling 6-8 sessions might provide the level of support and solutions you are looking for, depending on your needs. Longer term Psychotherapy can be open-ended, and can help you to work through more complex challenges or experiences.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
