About me

I support people struggling with anxiety, OCD, overwhelm, diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodivergence. I understand it can be exhausting, overwhelming and you can often feel misunderstood and overlooked. I know this can feel isolating and like no one truly understands, but you don’t have to face this on your own. I offer a warm, welcoming and down-to-earth space where you can explore your unique personal experiences with an empathetic, trustworthy and patient therapist. I see you as a whole, unique human being and consider you in mind, body, and spirit. I work from the heart, offering an open and understanding space where you can connect with yourself at a deeper level. You won’t be judged, interrupted, or feel like you need to mask who you are, you will be met with genuine warmth and safety as we explore what you need. Together, we’ll get curious about thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are making you feel stuck, connect with and process difficult emotions, and navigate a healthier relationship with yourself and the world around you.

As an Integrative counsellor I draw on different models of therapy - but always with a strong focus on our relationship. We'll work collaboratively, focusing on the issues that matter most to you. Every person is unique, so I adapt my way of working to suit your individual needs.

I am a trained Person-Centred Counsellor who integrates CBT, and Transactional Analysis into the therapy process.I have a deep understanding of mental health and support clients who prefer to work with a therapist with lived experience. My personal insight of OCD and ADHD nourishe my professional expertise helping me to deeply understand how stigma, shame, and self-criticism can impact seeking professional help. You don't have to worry about that here, i will support you with warmth, kindness and honesty. I’ll empower you to discover your own direction, change the relationship you have with yourself and reconnect with your true authenticity. Through this collaborative process, lasting change and genuine growth can emerge.

I welcome people from all walks of life and have experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations. My practice is an affirming and inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds, communities, and identities. Whatever you bring and who ever you are, you will be met with the same energy, respect and validation. I aim to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard and supported.

I genuinely understand that reaching out for support is hard. Taking the first step is never easy, and it takes real courage to begin the process. If you are considering taking the next step towards understanding yourself better, I'd be honoured to support you. Please get in touch if you are curious about therapy. I offer a free no obligation consultation to see if i am the right therapist for you. I hope to speak with you soon so you can create space for yourself to make the life long changes you deserve.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
