About me
Suzi Lauder
UKCP Registered Psychotherapist | EMDR Therapist
(Stratford-upon-Avon & surrounding areas)
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist offering support for individuals and couples.
I often work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, navigating difficult experiences such as trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, low self esteem & loss in addition to so many other challenges.
You may be here because something no longer feels manageable and is starting to affect your day-to-day life. Life can be complicated and whilst our friends and family may be a source of support, sometimes they can also be part of the problem.
You may not even have the words for what is going on but just know something isn't right. Whatever it is you don't have to be alone with it.
I am trained in Transactional Analysis (TA), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I use EMDR to help process trauma and distressing experiences, and TA and IFS to explore patterns in relationships and the different parts of the self.
I have a particular interest in working with trauma, grief and complex emotional experiences and can offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space, working at a pace that feels right for you.
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I have over 10 years’ experience as a Civil Celebrant, supporting individuals and families through bereavement and loss.
Our initial conversation is FREE and simply a chance to gently explore what’s been going on for you, and to see whether working together feels like the right fit. If this is something you would like to arrange

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
