About me
Suzi Lauder Post Grad UKCP accredited Psychotherapist
I have a private practice located just a few miles outside Stratford upon Avon and I work primarily using Transactional Analysis (TA) which is widely used by psychotherapists and counsellors. I also use EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) which is a type of psychotherapy that can help people process distressing memories and emotions. It's often used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but can also help with depression and anxiety caused by other difficult life events.
Sometimes our lives may not be working the way we want them to, relationships may seem problematic, we can feel like we are struggling and we may not even have words for what is wrong but just know that something is. Therapy can help to move us towards a life that does work, it can help us understand why it's been so difficult and free us from restrictions. It can provide us with more choices and help us consciously move towards the life we want for ourselves.
It’s not always possible to turn to family or friends for support, and sometimes our difficulties involve those very people. We ALL experience times in our life when we need help and at times like these, I can work with you to find answers.
Our work together is in the strictest confidence, and you can expect to be listened to without judgment, with compassion and with respect.
If you would like an initial free consultation to talk to me about a problem you are experiencing then please contact me for an appointment on 07702 151585. I offer evening and daytime appointments.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
