About me

As a qualified Psychotherapist, I am passionate about how the therapeutic alliance can help someone to explore the difficulties they are experiencing in life.  By providing a calm, safe and relaxing space, I work collaboratively with my clients in a cognitive behavioural style to help them create a better knowledge of the Self.  By identifying how problems manifest themselves, we can build a toolkit of learned techniques to use to overcome these difficulties and to improve mental wellbeing.

I am a grief counsellor but loss of any kind can manifest in different guises. I can also help clients presenting with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, experiences of trauma, sleep issues or just low mood.  Currently I’m working within EH1 Therapies, 4B Randolph Place, Edinburgh EH3 7TQ which is situated in the West End with easy transport links and on-street parking; and also remotely via Zoom.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • PG Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Over 4 years volunteering with Cruse Scotland
  • Cruse Scotland training in Supporting Bereaved Children and Young People
  • Bereavement group facilitator experience
