Susan Lee Psychotherapist MBACP, UKCP
3-5 Duke Street
Thank you for visiting my page and please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more.
I work in Marylebone in central London, my practice is comfortable and is privately situated 5 minutes walk from Bond Street tube station.
As my practice has evolved over the years I have found that many people come for psychotherapy as they wish to be free from anxiety and depression. I have also found that many individuals struggle with relationships with themselves and with others and I believe this stems from your early childhood experiences, which can influences the type of life and relationships one have as an adult.
Psychotherapy provides a safe space to think about how you come to be where you are in your life, and though I am happy to work short term with you I believe that real change takes time. I will be guided by you and where you are in your life and what feels appropriate. Through therapy, you can understand yourself better which ultimately leads to a better sense of self and a clearer understanding of how to live your life.
I charge from £90 per session.
Where possible I will try and offer a appointment that fits into your working week and or child care.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative psychotherapist which means I have been trained in a variety of different approaches in psychotherapy. And though I believe that there is not one single approach which can hold all the answers, my practice is influenced by relational psychoanalytic thinking. The integrative approach allows me to be more flexible and tailor the work to meet the individuals unique needs.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Regents College of Psychotherapy.
As well as working in private practice I have several years of experience of working within the NHS. I was particularly interested in how our mental health can impact on our ability to adjust and cope with physical illness, as well as the impact of divorce and separation on an individual.
