Hello my name is Susan Ronayne Kelly – Sue. I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and can offer both face to face and online counselling, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. Choosing a counsellor that you feel you can relate to is a big part of beginning therapy, so I commend you for starting the process. You are looking because something isn’t right in your world at the moment it may be that you are feeling low, unable to respond to life’s ups and downs as you would like to, it may be that you have experienced loss and feel that a part of you is missing, that gaping hole which feels like a chasm. Perhaps worries are overtaking you. Call me , see if I feel right for you or make an appointment via my website
Relationships can be tricky things to master and I can also offer couples counselling- this could be Life partners at any stage of their relationship or Mother and Daughter, Brother and Sister for example. It does take willingness on both of you to want to make changes.
Counselling is a two-way process and is not just about talking as you would with friends or family. I provide a safe haven where you can explore your thoughts and feelings which will lead you to a better understanding of yourself and allow you to see choices to move forward in your life. I won’t judge or tell you what to do. You are the expert on you and stay central to everything we do together, leading you toward being a better version of yourself. What that looks like is different for everyone- your therapy is as individual as you are. I also use from other disciplines such as transactional analysis and inner child if we think this is appropriate
I took medical retirement after 23 years as a Science Teacher and Pastoral leader in a Comprehensive school and have lived experience of Chronic Health conditions; including non-epileptic seizures. I cannot make these conditions disappear from your life but can help you to adjust to a new way of being. I feel very privileged to have trained as a Counsellor and to be trusted with your thoughts and feelings but deliberately keep my practice small, so that I can give you of my best. I continue to volunteer counsel for OACS in Benfleet. Contact me and start your counselling journey

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
