Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy:
Do you ever feel like you don’t quite fit in? Like the world around you is designed for others, and you’re constantly trying to adapt? Whether you identify as Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or highly sensitive, you may often feel the weight of trying to meet expectations or fit into a mould that doesn’t reflect who you truly are.
As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I deeply value and respect your unique perspective. I offer a supportive and empathetic space where we can explore the challenges you face, while also empowering you to embrace your authentic self. Together, we’ll focus on what truly works for you, adjusting the environment to ensure you feel comfortable—whether it’s the lighting, temperature, or any other element that makes you feel safe and heard. Therapy should be a place where you feel welcome, without pressure to conform. Let’s begin your journey toward healing and wellness in a way that feels right for you.
How can I help you?
I want to hear your story and walk alongside you to explore the issues that are troubling you and find a better way forward. I am warm and compassionate and will offer you a safe space to be understood and work through your difficulties. At your pace we will work together to make sense of your experiences and how the shadows of your past maybe impacting you now. In turn this will give you a deeper understanding of who you are and how you respond to life’s challenges. This will allow you to have a more meaningful relationship with yourself and others and opportunities to learn how to respond differently.
The most important part in how I practice is offering a space to focus on you and your needs whilst, supporting you to create a more satisfying life. At the heart of the therapy will be our relationship, a trusting space for healing to start taking shape.
