About me

Do you need a confidential, non-judgmental and safe space? There are times for all of us when we struggle and need emotional support. Sometimes the reasons behind our difficulties are obvious to us and at others we feel dissatisfied, but unable to explain why. Working with a therapist provides us with a safe place in which to explore with someone, who is concerned only with our needs, enabling insight and the possibility to find more effective ways of coping and increased resilience leading to a more fulfilled and satisfying life.  With a therapist there is no other agenda and nothing is at risk.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a peaceful setting between Reading and Maidenhead. I am able to offer both short term and long term work; we can decide together which is most appropriate for you.

I offer an initial 30 minute session, which is an opportunity for us to meet and for you to decide if counselling is for you.

I am a fully accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy; for information about criteria for membership you can go to   I am also a member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA).
