About me

People come to me with many different life experiences. Our sessions are a collaborative process, helping you to understand yourself more fully, see things from new perspectives, and develop tools and inner resources for life’s challenges.

After years of understanding and overcoming my own challenges, I developed a passion for helping others understand themselves more deeply too. I offer a space that feels grounded, warm, and real - sometimes with a little humour - where we can work together to find a way forward.

Every person is unique, and no single method works for everyone. My practice is pluralistic, meaning we shape therapy around you rather than fitting you into a rigid model. I draw on a range of well-established approaches - person-centred, psychodynamic, humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - in addition to somatic/polyvagal.

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely natural to have questions or uncertainty about where to begin. I aim to make that first contact as simple and comfortable as possible. You’re welcome to get in touch to ask any questions, arrange an initial session, or simply explore whether working together feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Fully Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

The NCPS is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counsellors and psychotherapists and holds an Accredited Register with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) - the independent government-backed body that checks and approves professional registers in health and social care.

I am also recognised by The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust). The King’s Trust is a respected national organisation that supports people and businesses committed to high-quality service and professional development. Recognition from the Trust indicates that my practice has met their criteria for professional training, ethical standards, and the capacity to provide reliable, client-focused care.

I hold a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Pluralistic), a Diploma in Counselling Skills & Theory, a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

My qualifications and accreditation support an ethical practice that is evidence-based and grounded in real, human understanding. I also engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure my work remains reflective, informed, and aligned with the highest professional standards.
