About me
I am a fully qualified, UKCP accredited gestalt therapist working in central Bristol.
My approach is creative and relational, with an emphasis on body awareness and emotional expression. I seek to hold a space for whatever emerges in our sessions, whether that’s sadness, grief, playfulness, anxiety, anger, shame, joy, depression, or confusion.
My role is to work alongside you as we explore your lived experience together, in the here-and-now. There may be specific areas of your life which you’re finding difficult, or you may be coming to therapy without a clear goal, but with a sense that something needs to change.
Where are you stuck? What’s holding you back from living the life you want to be living?
I bring curiosity, attention to detail, support, challenge and a spirit of openness to my work. I’m curious about existential issues, about identity, and about the ways in which we all seek to make sense of life, growth, love and loss.
The therapy room can be many things; a place for catharsis and the expression of long-suppressed emotions; a space to experiment with new ways of being, behaving and interacting; an opportunity to grieve, release, and move forward. I work in a trauma-informed manner to help you find safety and balance in your life, allowing you to heal and move on from the past.
If you'd like to hear more about the Gestalt approach, and about how I work, you will find more information on my website (linked above).

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
