About me
Hey, I'm Sophie!
I completely understand that the idea of counselling can be scary and the idea of opening up to someone may feel daunting, but after a session or two of working together I believe it can become a comfortable and safe space for you where we can build a strong therapeutic relationship and work through whatever is going on for you.
This time of year there can be a lot of difficulties we face, from the dark nights/mornings, lack of sunshine (if any!), and a whole range of societal expectations we can feel pressure to uphold.
The way I work is integrative and person centred. This means that I do not follow a single approach to counselling, and draw on different approaches that I think would be most beneficial to you and always welcome any input you may have into this.
I am currently only working online, so can offer telephone or video sessions on both a long and short term basis.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
