About me
Many people come to therapy having learnt how to cope on the surface, yet still feeling anxious, stuck, or dissatisfied underneath. My work focuses on gently exploring what’s happening at a deeper level — the lived experiences that continue to shape how you see yourself, others, and the world around you.
I often use the analogy of a tree: coping strategies can help tend to the branches, but if the core remains unseen or unsupported, real change can feel temporary. Alongside practical tools for day-to-day regulation, I work relationally and with depth — helping you build awareness of attachment patterns, limiting beliefs, relational dynamics, and internal narratives. When these are brought into conscious awareness, greater choice becomes possible.
I take a holistic, integrative approach that includes somatic and nervous system-informed work. This means we pay attention not only to thoughts and behaviours, but also to how stress and emotions are held in the body. Working at this level can support the release of stuck emotional responses and foster a greater sense of safety, choice, and self-connection.
As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, I bring both professional and lived understanding to this work. I’m experienced in working with a broad range of challenges, including clients who carry shame, self-criticism, or people-pleasing patterns, and who want to understand how these adaptations developed rather than seeing them as personal flaws. This often includes difficulties such as anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, stress, and relationship issues.
I offer thoughtful reflections and psychoeducation to help things make sense — supporting you to understand why certain patterns exist, not just how to manage them. My aim is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you explore deeper self-awareness, agency, and compassion towards yourself.
Therapy with me is compassionate, collaborative, non-judgemental, and paced to suit you.

Training, qualifications & experience
My studies include an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a masters (MSc) in Positive Psychology and Counselling. I have practiced person-centred therapy in my private practice, within healthcare organisations and within charities. I am also trained in solution-focused therapy, which is a strength-based approach that focuses on setting goals and exploring how these can be achieved. Solution-focused therapy promotes positive change by encouraging you to focus on what you can do, rather than what you can't.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
