About me

I am a qualified Psychological Therapist and Coach with a Master’s degree in Psychology, specialising in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Dyspraxia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Dyslexia. My focus is on supporting individuals with these conditions, helping them to navigate life’s challenges and promoting emotional well-being and personal growth.

In my practice, I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of my clients. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Hypnotherapy, which I use as key tools to assist clients in managing anxiety, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. My approach is always tailored to the individual, ensuring that therapy is both effective and aligned with their specific experiences and goals.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive environment where clients feel supported as they work through the complexities of neurodivergence and psychosexual health issues. My clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and approachable, which helps to foster trust and a strong therapeutic relationship. Through this collaborative process, I guide individuals toward greater self-awareness, healing, and resilience.

My work is grounded in evidence-based techniques but remains highly adaptable to the needs of each client. I am committed to inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences, ensuring that every person I work with feels understood and supported.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
