About me
You don't have to face life's struggles alone.
Sometimes life leaves us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or wondering if we will ever feel like ourselves again. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling in your relationships, battling low self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a safe place where you can slow down, be heard and begin making sense of your story.
I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor working from an attachment-informed perspective. I believe many of our present-day struggles are shaped by our earliest relationships, and together we can gently explore the patterns that may be keeping you feeling trapped, while discovering healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
My approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I won't tell you what to do or rush your process. Instead, I will walk alongside you, helping you gain greater clarity, emotional resilience and confidence as you move towards lasting change.
As a Christian counsellor, I also offer the opportunity to integrate faith into therapy for those who would find this meaningful. Whether you wish to explore your relationship with God, wrestle with questions of faith, process spiritual wounds, or simply have your Christian beliefs respected within counselling, this can become part of our work together. Equally, I warmly welcome clients of every faith and those with no faith at all. Your beliefs, values and personal journey will always be respected.
Above all, I believe healing begins when we experience being genuinely seen, heard and accepted. Whatever has brought you here today, you do not have to navigate it on your own
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with experience working with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues. My work has included supporting individuals with anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and emotional distress, within both short- and longer-term therapeutic settings.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I believe every person has the capacity for growth when they are met with genuine empathy, acceptance and understanding. My approach is primarily Person-Centred, enriched by attachment theory and an integrative understanding of emotional wellbeing. For those who wish, counselling can also include the gentle integration of Christian faith, offering space to explore both emotional and spiritual aspects of your journey.
