About me
Hello my name is Simran, I am an experienced therapist working with adults of all ages with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and relationship problems.
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, this involves working towards goals through a practical approach and using evidence based techniques to apply to your daily life.
This is a highly effective therapy for Anxiety disorders and Depression. I work closely with Autism; ADHD - acceptance of diagnosis and managing the symptoms of procrastination, time management and over stimulation. I am experienced in Couples Therapy factoring in cultural differences to help couples to communicate, work together and solve conflicts.
I also work with anxiety disorders such as OCD, health anxiety, panic, phobias, social anxiety and long term physical health conditions.
You have already made a huge step today by being here and reaching out for help, it can be overwhelming taking in all this information and I understand how daunting starting therapy can be. I offer a safe, confidential space where you share your thoughts and take that next step of getting the support in your life. I am here to guide you and help start your journey and provide you with the tools and skills to improve your overall well being.
What to expect on your First Appointment
This is a space for you to talk as much or little detail on what’s brought you to seek support. It’s a relaxed environment of us getting acquainted with one another; I hope to put your mind at ease and create a space where you feel safe. I will talk about what therapy involves, a bit about myself and what you would like to achieve from therapy. We will then discuss how treatment will look like and how we will tailor sessions to work towards your goals.
If you would like to find out more or feel unsure please feel free to contact me for an Introductory call, with no obligation to start therapy.
