Member organisations *
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Areas of counselling we deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
Our fees are on a sliding scale starting from £26.00 a session depending on net household income. It is always better to give us a call so we can talk this through with you.
We also have some funding available, please give us a call and we can see if you would be eligible for any of our current funding.
We take payments in cash, by cheque or by credit/debit card.
We work from early until late from Monday through to Friday and there are also some Saturday appointments available.
We are a highly professional team who have experience in many areas where people are struggling. We are empathic and we do not judge you! Our building is in a discreet location so for those who are afraid to be seen coming to counselling we are well situated. However we find that after counselling most of our clients find that the stigma they percieved around counselling was unfounded and are more than happy to tell people about us because it has made such a difference to them!
We also offer choice at Simply - we allocate you a counsellor that best suits your needs however if you do not get on or 'click' with that counsellor then we are happy to refer you to another one on our team so that you can find the 'best fit' for you! We also allow our clients to choose whether they have a male or female counsellor.
We normally find that most clients have seen a change in their mood/feelings/situation within 6 to 10 weeks however this does vary from person to person.
Give us a call and our friendly staff will talk you through what you can expect when you come to us.
