About me
As a person-centred counsellor, I am of the opinion that you are the expert on you. I am here to provide you with a safe and confidential space where we will work together to explore your thoughts and feelings around your situation in order to help you come to your own decisions and find your own path. I offer a non-judgemental, inclusive, and empathic environment.
I have worked successfully with people who have anxiety and depression for many different reasons including relationship, family issues to job stress and health problems. As well as with people who are just trying to figure out their direction, after a life changing experience such as bereavement or the end of a long term relationship. I have experience of working with neurodivergent issues such as autism and ADHD. I can also offer support and help to people struggling with sex or pornography addiction.
Maybe this is your first time considering counselling, maybe you are unsure of what will happen or how it will work, or maybe you are apprehensive that needing counselling somehow means there is something wrong with you.
Having been through this myself, I know how difficult it can be to take the first step towards help, and I will therefore aim to make it as easy as possible for you. I will endeavour to understand you, and what it is like for you in the world, from your perspective.
I currently offer one to one counselling online and face to face. I believe that the key to successful counselling is finding the right counsellor for you, so I offer an initial informal 20 minute online session where you can ask me any questions you may have about counselling or how I practice, and talk a bit about what you hope to get from counselling, and what brought you to counselling in the first place.
If you feel like you would like to take the next step in looking after yourself or if have any questions at all please feel free to contact me thorugh the email button above.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
