About me
I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in Camden, Staple Inn WC1V, and Peckham.
In my experience therapy offers valuable space to focus on your own needs with a trained professional; where you can take time to more fully understand yourself, your relationships, and life as a whole.
Starting therapy can be daunting, so I take care to build an empathic space where you can feel safe enough to explore whatever brings you to therapy, including difficult and possibly painful feelings relating to the situation you are in.
I work colaboratively, with a focus on present experiencing, to develop awareness of feelings, thoughts, behaviours and communication. This awareness can bring fresh perspectives on your past; shed light on current difficulties; and make way for new possibilities and meaningful change.
I see therapy as a creative dialogue that can enable clients to live more choiceful, satisfying and enjoyable personal and professional lives.
My couples and relationship work includes adults in all kinds of relationships, including family, friends, and alternative relationships.
My gestalt approach is informed by research in areas such as neuroscience, attachment, trauma and mindfulness.
Before training as a psychotherapist I worked in the arts for two decades, experiencing the complexies of creative processes and relationships, both in commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
I welcome any questions you may have about my approach, or how we might work together. You can contact me by email or telephone via the link buttons provided at the top of my profile.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy, and MA in Gestalt Therapy Theory Studies, both from the Gestalt Centre in London.
I am an accredited and registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
My commitment to ethical practice is in accordance with the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice. This includes undertaking ongoing professional development through regular consultation with other practitioners, training, and study.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
