About me

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, and psychoanalytic frameworks. Client won't be judged, they will be heard, understood and supported. Here, you will be supported to explore your unconscious processes, early relational patterns, and the deeper roots of emotional difficulties.

In your journey, you can expect a collaborative process that respects your unique experience and individual needs, which may begin by talking through your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, allowing us to uncover the underlying issues contributing to any distress or difficulty you are facing. Alongside the verbal exploration, there is an option to incorporate creative methods, such as art activities, to help you express emotions or ideas that may be hard to put into words. It can be a powerful tool for insight and healing, offering a different way to process and understand your experiences. It fosters a dynamic therapeutic environment that encourages both self-reflection and personal expression, allowing you to engage with your healing process in your journey.

Whether through conversation, creative expression, or both, my goal is to help you gain greater self-awareness, heal past wounds, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and relating to others. You will be supported every step of the way as we work together towards meaningful, lasting change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified with a Master's Degree in Art Therapy and am a registered member of MBACP.

Over the past 8 years, I have supported people, both children and adults, through anxiety and trauma.

In recent years, I have provided support to people going through mental health crises in an NHS foundation charity.

I help people who feel stuck, overwhelmed or on edge all the time. If life is too heavy right now, you don't have to carry it by yourself.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
