Together we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives and an insight into what you are going through. Counselling and Therapy is a journey to empower you to find the resources within you to make the transformation you need to make in your life.
Therapy and counselling can help you find relief from difficulties like anxiety, general anxiety disorder, depression, panic attacks, eating disorder, relationship issues, couples counselling ( the list goes on).
I have helped clients overcome anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement, childhood trauma, marriage/couple counselling and identity crisis.
You don't have to suffer from mental health to seek help from a psychotherapist and counsellor. In life you may encounter difficulties that begin to impede with your daily life and you feel the need to find a place to talk and explore your feelings.
My therapy works also involves working with the South Asian community and being of a similar culture it makes it easier for clients from the Asian background to speak to a therapist who has an insight into the culture and traditions. My interests lie in transgenerational trauma, shame and identity crisis.
Just a little note to say thank you for all your support over the last year or so. I can really see the changes I have made and feel our work together has been very constructive...'
I have had the opportunity to sit with Shireen who is amazing. She actually listens to you which i feel is rare. I felt safe talking to her which is so important...I would definitely recommend Shireen's sessions
Amazing woman who listens patiently and makes you feel completely at ease, highly recommend her
My session with Shireen have really helped me to understand my anxiety and learn ways to cope with it. The support has made a big difference to my life. Thank you Shireen for always being approachable and for listening.
Shireen's understating of human emotion is undeniably accurate as she lets you tell your own story

The psychotherapy journey can be difficult and taking the first step to get in touch even tougher but if you are reading this you have taken the first step.
With so many therapist and Counsellors out there it is not easy to choose a therapist who will be right for you or who you feel you will be able to work with.
So, if you have any questions or want to speak to me contact me over the telephone on 0203 488 4231 or email me to book a 15 minutes free of charge consultation. You can ask me any questions you have surrounding psychotherapy and how I can help you
I also offer low-cost day time sessions based on financial circumstances.
When I work
Do feel free to contact me to discuss availblity
Time and time again I am asked by prospective clients what my approach is. Yes, counsellors and therapists have varied approaches to help their clients but the most important approach is to ask what the clients needs are? It is not about enforcing an approach that will not work with a client. It is hearing what the client wants from therapy.
I recognise that weekly face-to-face therapy sessions are not always possible for all clients, including busy executives who travel extensively or who are based abroad. My therapy services are tailored for each client to combine personal meetings with Skype, Zoom and/or phone session and maintain regular contact and to ensure continuity of your counselling.
There are many counselling and therapy services out there and it is difficult to go through them in order to find the one suited to you. If you want to speak to me please call or email me to book an initial consultation to discuss and get an idea if you feel I am suited to your needs and whether you feel we can work together.
