About me

A very warm welcome and thank you for taking the time to read my page,

There are times when we are faced with difficult moments that can make us feel anxiety, feelings of sadness or depression, we might be grieving a loss. Or we just need a place to be listened to. It doesn't mean that you have to be diagnosed with mental health label to want to go to see a therapist. It is these moments that we need to find a place where we can feel safe to speak, to be listened to with care, compassion and empathy.

I do my best to provide a space where you feel listened to and safe to speak openly and freely about what you are going through. Together we explore your situation in a way that lets you to find fresh perspectives and an insight into what you are going through. Counselling and Psychotherapy is a journey to empower and support you to find the resources within you to make the transformation you need to make in your life.

I offer sessions by phone, Zoom and in person.  Feel free to call me on 0203 488 4231 to have a brief chat. If I don't answer please leave a voicemail and i will do my best to get back to you within 48 hours.

I have experience of helping clients overcome anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement, childhood trauma, intercultural/interfaith marriage/relationships, marriage/couple counselling and relationship issues with parents or siblings

My therapy works also involves working with the South Asian community.  Being of a similar culture it makes it easier for clients from the Asian background to speak to a therapist who has an insight into the culture and traditions. My interests lie in transgenerational trauma, shame, couples counselling, interracial relationships, migration, race, relationships  and cultural identity crisis.

Further information

My approach
Time and time again I am asked by prospective clients what my approach is. Yes, counsellors and therapists have varied approaches to help their clients but the most important approach is to ask what the clients needs are? It is not about enforcing an approach that will not work with a client. It is hearing what the client wants from therapy.

Our Sessions
I recognise that weekly face-to-face therapy sessions are not always possible for all clients. My therapy services are tailored for each client to combine personal meetings with online and/or phone session and maintain regular contact and to ensure continuity of your counselling.

Your Needs
There are many counselling and therapy services out there and it is difficult to go through them in order to find the one suited to you. If you want to speak to me please call or email me to book an initial consultation to discuss and get an idea if you feel I am suited to your needs and whether you feel we can work together.
