About me

Welcome to Clear Mindset – “Clarity, one thought at a time.”

At Clear Mindset, my aim is to provide a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can explore whatever is on your mind and begin to make sense of your thoughts and feelings.

Hi, I’m a qualified integrative counsellor and founder of Clear Mindset in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. My main approach is person-centred, meaning I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to offer understanding, empathy and support while you explore things at your own pace.

As an integrative therapist, I’m trained in three core modalities - Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This allows me to adapt my approach to suit each individual client, blending techniques and perspectives depending on your unique needs.

I work with children (from age 5 upwards), young people, and adults, providing a calm, non-judgemental environment where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, loss, relationship or attachment challenges, or are navigating aspects of neurodiversity such as autism or ADHD. I'm here to support you in finding clarity and confidence in moving forward.

Sessions are available in person from our comfortable counselling room in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, or online if you prefer to work remotely. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which has trained me in three core modalities - Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This integrative approach allows me to adapt my work to meet each client’s individual needs.

My experience includes working with children (from age 5 upwards), young people, and adults, supporting clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, self-esteem, self-criticism, relationship challenges, gender identity and life transitions .I also have experience working with aspects of neurodiversity including ADHD and Autism .

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
