About me

I offer psychotherapy as a gentle, collaborative, and trauma-informed process grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and care. Together, we create a safe and supportive space where you are in control of the pace and direction of our work, and where your experiences are met with respect and understanding.

As a Core Process Psychotherapist, I provide a confidential, non-judgmental environment where your nervous system, boundaries, and sense of safety are carefully held in mind. Nothing is forced or rushed. We work with curiosity and kindness, allowing your thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences to be explored only when and if they feel manageable for you.

The therapeutic relationship is warm, steady, and authentic, offering a reliable presence where you can begin to feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences. Through mindful and compassionate inquiry, we gently support the rebuilding of trust—both in the therapeutic relationship and in yourself.

This approach recognises the impact of trauma and honours your resilience and strengths. While the work can sometimes touch into pain, it is always held with care, choice, and grounding. My role is to walk alongside you as a guide, supporting you in reconnecting with your inner resources, developing self-compassion, and moving toward healing at your own pace.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.
