About me

Hello, I'm Sharon from Turquoise Therapy.

Deciding to take up therapy can be daunting.  If you need help to work out how to move on from a place that's keeping you stuck, to heal from trauma or loss, or figure out why you may be repeating old patterns that may not be healthy, counselling will help.

I work with clients dealing with a wide range of difficulties. If you feel overwhelmed, despairing, depressed, confused, or are struggling to deal current or past experiences, I provide a warm, safe, confidential space with no judgement, for you to process, and put strategies in place to improve your wellbeing.

I will listen and ensure you feel seen and heard.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a qualified Counsellor and EMDR Therapist I use various approaches from different fields to help you reach your therapeutic goals.

I've previously had many roles including within public and emergency services, health and wellbeing, nature and environmental fields.

I've worked long term with people experiencing stress, depression, burn-out, anxiety, trauma, and coming to terms with loss.

I’ve been lucky and travelled the world living in different cultures so understand a wide variety perspectives & lived experiences.

I continuously take courses to expand my knowledge base and expertise.

I am a Neurodiversity affirming Counsellor.
