About me

"No mountain is insurmountable, and no storm so rough, that they should be travelled alone". You can become free of what is holding or distressing you, and regain a life with energy, purpose and direction. Therapy can really help and the sooner you begin, the sooner you can start that journey. You don't have to stay stuck, troubled, or helpless. Text Sharon on 07902429787 for that first step.

What Can I Offer You?

You'll find it very relaxed, and comfortable working together, in a lovely homely setting (easy parking). Whatever your distress, we look at it together, whether past hurts or events, relational difficulties, loss, future anxieties, regrets, spiritual crisis, feelings of shame, sadness, extreme hurt, and so many more. We then build forward in many different ways, beginning the healing process, discovery, and  wonderful changes. Of course, you may need only a few sessions - and that's wonderful too !

To help you fully experience a complete session and its benefits, I offer a full first session of £25 so you can  talk over immediate worries, ask questions and gain some essential techniques for stress, grounding, or panic. This is a great way for you to find out if you'd like to continue. Normal sessions are £45 during 9-5pm, or £50 afterhours.

Fully qualified, trained, licensed. I work with many recognised approaches and techniques. We focus on what's most effective for you and with your preferences, helping you to see change all the sooner. Therapy is about your healing, your answers, your happiness. We do this in a kind way with a curious outlook, and plenty of tools which you take with you for life.

These include:

Cognitive Therapy (including CBT), a focus on the hows, whats, whys of the thought process and its influence.

Psychodynamic, providing helpful insights into feelings and beliefs, early life influences, attachment styles, and learnt perceptions.

Humanistic, with an emphasis on individuality, your beliefs, values, strengths, and ability to govern your life from a place of personal aptitude.

Meditational Practice, which grounds, provides self awareness of where you hold tension, how to breathe properly, and ease anxious thinking which can be pervasive.

Solution Focused Therapy, which concentrates on what you 'really want', on how, when, and which manner best serves you.

I also utilise positive psychology, compassion and acceptance, which combined create more robust self-esteem, and enhanced meaning and interaction in life than self confidence focus alone.

Please check out my website above for further information.

I'd love to encourage you to take this step for a better journey ahead - Feel free to email me at or text Sharon on 07902 429787.

National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society

This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
