About me
I am an HCPC registered Music Therapist with extensive experience working therapeutically across a wide range of ages and client groups. My online practice is dedicated to working with individuals aged 18+.
Over the course of my career I have worked with a variety of client groups and ages, from children and adolescents to adults, across a broad spectrum of needs and levels of severity. My experiences have informed and enriched the work I offer online, bringing both clinical depth and a compassionate understanding of the many ways people can struggle.
My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental. I work creatively and flexibly, drawing on a range of therapeutic tools tailored to your needs.
Sessions may include talking and listening- there's no requirement to engage with music if that doesn't feel right for you. At other times we may explore listening to music, songwriting, using music software to record, using music meditatively, or working with other creative materials.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my MA in Music Therapy at the university of Roehampton. My experience includes working for the NHS in an acute psychiatric ward, where I facilitated group music therapy sessions and 1-1 sessions, working in a preschool with 3-5 year olds with a variety of needs, and working in a Social Emotional Mental Health secondary school, where I continue to offer my services on a weekly basis.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
