About me
Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you've been struggling for a long time or aren't sure why things haven't improved despite your best efforts. My aim is to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable exploring what's been happening and what you'd like to change.
I'm Saskia, a BABCP-Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 10 years' experience supporting people with their mental health across NHS and private settings.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, perfectionism, trauma-related difficulties and the emotional challenges that can accompany long-term health conditions.
CBT is a practical, evidence-based therapy that helps us understand the links between our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses. Together, we'll develop an understanding of the patterns that may be keeping difficulties going and identify strategies to help you make meaningful and lasting changes.
I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. Rather than telling you what to do, I will work alongside you to develop an approach tailored to your individual needs, goals and circumstances. Whether you're looking to overcome a specific difficulty or gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I aim to help you build the confidence and skills to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I offer therapy online and in person and welcome adults from all backgrounds.
