About me

I work with adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck or unsure of who they are. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, burnout, unexpected difficulties, life transitions or the pressure to have everything figured out. Perhaps you’re navigating the end of a relationship, a difficult or distressing experience, a period of change, or simply finding yourself unsure of what comes next. I also welcome clients exploring whether they may be neurodivergent.

I offer person-centred counselling, providing a warm, accepting and collaborative space where you can explore whatever feels important to you. Together, we can make sense of your experiences at your own pace, develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion, and explore what might help you move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, especially if you're used to carrying everything on your own. You don't need to have the right words, know exactly what's wrong, or have it all figured out. If you're looking for a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can be heard and understood, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently completing the final year of my Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My training is grounded in Person-Centred Experiential Therapy, with a strong emphasis on developing a genuine, empathic and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

I also hold a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills. Through my counselling placements, I have gained experience working with both young people and adults, supporting clients experiencing a range of difficulties including neurodivergence, anxiety, emotional distress, life transitions and other challenging life experiences.

Alongside my counselling experience, I have a background in coaching and mentoring, supporting people with their personal development and navigating periods of change. This experience has further developed my ability to listen, build trusting relationships and support people in working towards meaningful change.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, with regular clinical supervision supporting my work. I aim to practise ethically and thoughtfully, recognising that every client's experience is unique.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
