About me
Hello, and welcome to my profile.
I provide a warm and safe environment to allow you to explore in therapy any difficult feelings you may be navigating, to look at patterns that may be holding you back, or to simply offload your worries to a listening ear. Perhaps you are feeling some anxiety, or feel you may be depressed. I am here to meet you where you are, and to talk about what you choose to bring.
I can offer you empathy and understanding, without judgement, from the warmth and care of my therapy room near Tring.
The relationship between us is the base upon which we will work, and there will be plenty of time for you to ask any questions you may have so that we can both consider if we are a good fit.
I specialise in supporting parents of children who are unable or struggling to attend school, and who may be exploring emerging needs such as neurodivergence. I offer neurodiversity affirming support and work with ADHD, exploring strategies to help manage life's demands.
I have lived experience of life's challenges, and have interest and experience in working with challenging relationships, family dynamics, domestic abuse, sexual assault, recent/current or historic abuse and trauma.
I work integratively, which means I work from several different counselling theories including psychodynamic, attachment theory, transactional analysis, CBT, and with a core of person centred.
Please drop me an email if I can offer an further information. I offer a free 15 minute initial phone call which may be booked in when you contact me.
I also offer RTT - Rapid Transformational Hypnotherapy.
