About me
I am a fully qualified BACP Accredited Counsellor
Are you struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or relationship issues? Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck in a rut, or as if life is passing you by? Perhaps you're overthinking everything, replaying past events, or facing a difficult decision with no clear way forward.
I can help
I have over 7 years of experience supporting adults and young people (aged 18 and over) through a wide range of life challenges. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, self-doubt, overthinking, relationship difficulties, work-life balance, burnout, divorce and breakups, lack of direction, ADHD and neurodiversity. I am also passionate about supporting personal development and helping clients build greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in their lives.
I offer a warm, friendly and confidential space. We all have things on our minds that we feel we cannot raise, even with our closest family and friends. You will find that even just being able to verbalise your thoughts, with the freedom to talk openly and freely, without judgement can be very therapeutic.
In addition to general counselling, I have extensive experience and further training in working with adults who are living with the lasting effects of childhood emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. While we can’t change the past, we can work together to understand how it continues to affect your present and support you in building resilience and making positive changes in moving forward.
Whatever is bringing you to counselling, I will support you in exploring your current situation and help you to move forward, build confidence and motivation for change in all areas of your life such as career, relationships, health, work/life balance and finding purpose.
I believe that everyone is unique, every issue is different. I draw from different approaches, using various tools and techniques tailored to each individual.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I understand that making the first step to see a counsellor can feel daunting. It can be hard to open up and share your innermost thoughts and concerns with someone, especially with someone you don’t know. I believe it is important to find a therapist whom you feel comfortable.
Therefore, I offer a free initial 30 minute appointment, with no obligation, to see if we are a good fit to work together and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
If you are ready to take the next step or you have any questions then please get in touch.
