Hello, I’m Sarah.
I understand that it can be hard to open up and share your inner most thoughts and concerns with someone, especially with someone you don’t know.
We all have things on our minds that we feel we cannot raise, even with our closest family and friends. I am here to provide a warm and safe environment to discuss these matters where you will not be judged.
We will work together to help you make positive changes and to move forwards, and you will most likely find that by just being able to verbalise your thoughts, can be very therapeutic.
How counselling can help.
Whatever is bringing you to counselling, I believe that we all can grow and achieve our potential and that a positive therapeutic relationship can greatly aid this process. Everyone is unique, every issue is different and we can discuss the best approach for your needs so you get the best you can from our sessions.
I can help you with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, feeling sad, stress, depression, childhood abuse and loss & bereavement. We will work together at a pace that suits you.
Making that first step to see a counsellor can be difficult.
I believe that it is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable with. I therefore offer a free initial appointment without obligation so that we can discuss your needs and to answer any questions you may have.
If you would like any further information or to arrange your consultation, please do not hesitate to call me or leave me a message here. If I am not available I will usually be in touch within 24 hours.
Life doesn't always run smoothly and with it bring various challenges which can sometimes feel overwhelming. Counselling can provide you with the time and space to make sense of how and why you feel the way you do, help you make positive changes and move forwards.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work adults anywhere in the UK online and can help with a wide range of issues.
I have also worked for the last 2 years at a local charity in Poole supporting adults who suffer from the effects of childhood abuse. This includes working with complex trauma, post traumatic stress and anxiety.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
