About me
As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I provide a warm, empathetic, and creative space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. My core modality is Person-Centred Therapy, which means I believe in the power of a genuine, accepting, and empathetic therapeutic relationship to facilitate self-discovery, healing and personal growth. However, as an integrative therapist, I am able to adapt my approach to each client, recognising their individuality and unique needs, while incorporating other modalities and creative interventions. The journey is led by you, but we navigate it together, working as a team within a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship
I have experience working with children, young people, and adults, supporting clients in navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My aim is to help individuals connect with their authentic selves by providing a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered.
I have spent a number of years volunteering with local organisations, providing support to women and mentoring young people in the local community. This work has involved helping isolated clients facing complex mental health difficulties, including the effects of recent and early life trauma, eating disorders, addiction and self-harm, offering them guidance, encouragement, and a safe space to be heard.
In addition, as a sports coach for school aged children I run weekly training sessions and after-school clubs to help children and young people enjoy team sports and fitness. I strongly believe in the benefits of sports not only for physical health but also as a tool for building confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
As a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I adhere to professional ethical standards, ensuring a confidential and supportive environment for your therapeutic journey.
If you're looking for a compassionate and creative approach to counselling, I’d be honoured to be alongside you on your journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
