About me

Helping you navigate love, sex, and relationships

Finding it hard to move on from a breakup? Do you keep choosing emotionally unavailable partners? Struggling with intimacy, trust, or relationship uncertainty?

If your relationships feel confusing or painful, you don’t have to face them alone. I offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s really going on and make sense of your experiences.

How I can help you
I work with individuals, with a  focus on relationships in all forms including long-term partnerships, situationships, family, and friendships.  Some key issues I can support you with are:

  • Relationship patterns and attachment issues
  • Divorce, separation, breakups, and moving on
  • Affairs, infidelity, and trust concerns
  • Exploring identity, attraction, and relationship styles including open relationships and polyamory
  • Difficulties with emotional connection, closeness, and relationship expectations
  • Exploring sexuality, including questions around identity, orientation, or changes in how you experience desire
  • Navigating relationships as a neurodivergent person (including ADHD and autism)
  • Concerns around porn use, compulsive sexual behavior, or the impact of sexual patterns on relationships and self-esteem

I also support clients facing challenges such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Addiction
  • Bereavement
  • Workplace stress or redundancy
  • Infertility
  • Cancer, dementia and other health conditions

Many people come to therapy for one issue, only to discover other things surfacing along the way. That’s completely normal—we’ll explore whatever feels most important to you.

My approach
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from different therapeutic approaches to suit your needs. At my core, I’m humanistic—meaning I believe you are the expert on yourself. I won’t give you all the answers, but I’ll help you uncover them. I also integrate psychodynamic and attachment theories to explore how past experiences shape your relationships today.

My approach is sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and inclusive of diverse relationship styles.

Online counselling
I work online via Zoom, so you can access therapy from anywhere in the UK.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
