About me

I offer counselling from my private home office, providing a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can take time away from the pressures of everyday life and focus on yourself.

My aim is to create a space where you feel able to speak openly, whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling that life has become difficult to navigate.

Every client is unique, so I tailor our work to your individual needs, working at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, openness, and mutual respect, giving you the opportunity to explore what's important to you and move towards the changes you want to make.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor (MBACP) with a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Integrative Counselling. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore life's challenges at your own pace.

My integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to support meaningful and lasting change.

I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I believe therapy is a collaborative process rather than a quick fix. My role isn't to provide answers or tell you what to do, but rather walk alongside you as you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, recognising that no single approach works for everyone. I'll listen with care and compassion, offering thoughtful reflection, empathy, and gentle challenge where appropriate, helping you develop greater self-awareness and discover your own capacity for growth and change.

I believe that, with the right support, we all have the ability to better understand ourselves and make meaningful, lasting changes.
