About me
Sometimes life throws stuff at us that is really hard to carry alone. Illness, loss and grief, relationship challenges, losing a job, moving house, stress at work, questioning life choices, caring for family members - whatever's happening, whether it's something new or something you've been holding for a while, we can feel lost, anxious, or uncertain about what comes next, who we are, and how to make life feel a bit more bearable. Therapy provides a space to recognise the impact of what you've been through and what you're going through now, where together we can start to make sense of your feelings and explore how they're affecting you, and identify the strengths that will get you through these challenges so you can feel more at ease.
I offer a space to explore, reflect, remember, imagine, and get curious, at your own pace, where you feel supported, valued, and not judged. Maybe it's time to process something heavy you've been carrying around for years, or something specific happening in your life right now has thrown things off balance, leaving everything unsettled. Whatever it is, you don't need to face it alone.
We start with you and your experiences - your stories, memories, challenges, fears, hopes, and ideas. Your past, present, and future. Within the therapeutic relationship, we’ll work together to make sense of things. We will explore what’s worrying you, and think together about how you can live in a way that feels aligned with your values and hopes.
What we might do in sessions:
- listening
- questioning
- tuning into feelings
- exploring attachment and thinking about how things that have happened in the past impact your sense of self, relationships, and well-being
- exploring patterns in relationship dynamics
- creative activities
- mindfulness and grounding techniques
....and more. I hope you'll feel safe, supported, and valued along the way!
I trained as an integrative psychotherapist, using existential, psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. Together we'll explore what is going on for you - we might look back at your childhood, talk about your daily life, or look at the 'here and now' to try to make sense of things. We'll get curious together, working at your pace, with warmth and compassion.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
As well as being a psychotherapist, I am a community music practitioner. I primarily work with young children, parents, and families, using music, song and movement to enhance well-being, bonding, and community connection. I’m passionate about supporting people to bring more creativity into their daily life and to feel confident about being a creative person. I believe that we are all creative beings, even if we don’t recognise it, and that creativity is for everybody and vital to a fulfilled, meaningful life. I also know that even for people who are paid to be creative, it’s easy to feel not good enough, or like an impostor. I love exploring with people how to shift these feelings into a healthier relationship with creative work.
