About me
A space for what you carry beneath the surface
You do not need the perfect words to begin therapy. Many people seek counselling because they feel emotionally stretched, unsettled, or disconnected beneath the surface, despite functioning well outwardly. What often helps is having a sense of how you would like to feel by the end of our work together.
I am a qualified Dramatherapist, registered with the HCPC and BADth, with over ten years’ experience offering therapy to adults. I support clients navigating anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions, including the impact of earlier or adverse life experiences that continue to shape how they feel and relate in the present.
Alongside dramatherapy, I draw on Soul Transformation Therapy and holistic counselling approaches. Our sessions combine talking therapy with gentle body-based and creative practices, allowing us to work at a deeper level than words alone. You do not need to be creative or have prior therapy experience. We work at a pace that feels safe and responsive to you.
A strong therapeutic relationship is central to effective counselling. Research consistently shows that feeling understood and supported by your therapist is one of the most important factors in positive outcomes. I offer a warm, grounded, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your inner world without pressure, judgement, or expectation.
To begin, I offer a discounted initial session so you can experience how I work and sense whether it feels like the right fit. You are invited to get in touch for an initial phone call to ask questions and explore next steps.

Experience
My work over the years has given me the privilege of supporting people through many different stages of life and a wide range of challenges.
• Within the NHS, I worked at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, on an adults psychiatric ward and with people living with early onset dementia.
• I have supported women alongside NHS midwives, offering therapy around postnatal depression, traumatic birth, stillbirth, cot death, and relationship difficulties.
• I have worked as part of the clinical team at a domestic violence charity, providing trauma-informed therapy for women who had experienced domestic violence and sexual abuse.
• In schools across London, I’ve offered both individual and group therapy for children and teenagers, as well as wellbeing workshops for teachers and staff.
• I have also worked as an online counsellor with a national service provider, counselling young people with a wide variety of concerns including eating difficulties, sleep problems, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, relationship and family issues, and questions of sexuality and gender identity.
Today, my focus is on my private practice, where I offer 50-minute sessions tailored to your needs.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
