About me

You maybe looking for a counsellor following a life event, because you're feeling stuck or for many other reasons. Together, either by telephone, online or face to face,  we can work through what has brought you to counselling.

I provide a safe one to one space that allows for you to explore, without judgement or dismissal, what has brought you to attend. The 50 minute session gives you the opportunity to achieve your goals through exploration and raising of self awareness. The pace we do this at is set by you to ensure you feel safe.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience within adult mental health, the Armed Forces and Emergency Services gives me a deeper of these areas and an ability to hear another's distress in all different fields of experience.

I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and trained using a range of different theories, known as an integrative counsellor, that allows me to adapt to your needs during our sessions.

I hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology  and continue to academically study.  I also attend regular training to ensure my practice is up to date and appropriate for my clients.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
