Hi, I'm Sam, welcome to my profile. so a bit about myself, I am a qualified integrative counsellor registered with the BACP. I am friendly and down to earth and aim to provide a friendly but professional counselling service. I am caring and compassionate and have lots of experience working with depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, PTSD and general welfare and low self-esteem to mention just a few. I believe there is no single way to approach emotional disturbances and so I encompass CBT, transactional analysis and person centred theories into my practice to ensure the best possible outcome for each and every client.
So, if you are struggling with general anxiety, depression or any mental health issues please feel free to get in-touch, we can work through this together at your own pace either in the comfort of my centrally based office in Stockport or via zoom or telephone. If you wish to discuss sessions or require further details please feel free to contact me, remember you are not alone and no problem is too big or small.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
