About me

I am an experienced Integrative Humanistic, Psychodynamic & Somatic Psychotherapist - with experience working in private practise, the NHS and the voluntary sector. Based near Clapham Junction, I have clients from all over London and beyond.  I offer both long and short term talking therapy with somatic processing - and the option to combine talking therapy with Biodynamic body work for a fully integrated somatic approach.

I am an Integrative Humanistic, Psychodynamic & Somatic Psychotherapist & CranioSacral Therapist - with 20 years of clinical experience working in private practise, the NHS, domestic violence and the voluntary sector. I offer both long and short term talking therapy.  I am a trauma informed therapist with a diploma in Anatomy, Pathology and Physiology and a deep understanding of the psychological, neurological and physiological feedback loops that create mental ill health.

Being an integrative therapist allows me to approach the fragmentation and dislocation from which many suffer, from a broad theoretical perspective. Burnout, avoidance, relationship problems, social disconnection, anxiety, depression, ocd and physical ailments such as long covid and CFS are all common presentations in my room. But it can also be a simple sense of not being connected to yourself or your life direction and forward path that brings you to my door.

Over time this kind of therapy will leave you not only feeling whole again, but more fully able to connect and inhabit a revised sense of your Self (at a physical and psychological level) for maximum enjoyment and potential in life.

This deep enquiry into your sense of Self at a physical and psychological level - offers cohesion instead of fragmentation - leading to improved Self awareness, Self acceptance and a greater possibility of change in entrenched mental health presentations such as anxiety and depression & problematic relationship patterns.

I work with a broad base of clients and including ADHD & Autistic people & those with other Neurodiversity's who often have correlated mental and physical health presentations.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
