About me

Hello, I’m Sabrina - welcome.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or a little lost right now, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where life feels heavier than it should, or where old patterns begin to feel too tight. Counselling can offer a calm, steady space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

I work gently and collaboratively, supporting people who feel deeply, think deeply, and often carry more than they show. My approach is warm, grounded, and paced around what feels safe for you.

What I can help with
I support adults who are navigating:

  • anxiety, worry, or overthinking
  • low self‑esteem or self‑criticism
  • feeling overwhelmed or emotionally sensitive
  • relationship difficulties
  • life transitions, loss, or change
  • a sense of disconnection from self or others

I have a particular interest in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), deep feelers, and those who often absorb the emotions of others. If you’ve ever been told you’re “too sensitive” or you feel easily overwhelmed by the world, you may find this space especially supportive.

Who I Work Well With
People often come to me because they:

  • feel things intensely or get overwhelmed easily
  • are navigating life transitions or significant change
  • struggle with people‑pleasing or perfectionism
  • find it hard to express needs or set boundaries
  • feel disconnected from their identity or intuition
  • want a therapist who is warm, calm, and non‑judgemental

How I work

My practice is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and respect. I offer a confidential, non‑judgemental space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace. Together, we’ll navigate your vulnerabilities with care and create room for healing, clarity, and growth.

Sessions with me are calm and spacious. You’re free to bring whatever feels important - thoughts, feelings, memories, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. We move gently, with curiosity and attunement, allowing your story to unfold in a way that feels manageable and grounded.

What counselling with me can offer

  • a safe, steady space to talk openly
  • support in understanding your emotions and patterns
  • tools to help you feel more grounded and resourced
  • space to reconnect with your needs, boundaries, and sense of self
  • a warm, consistent presence alongside you as you make sense of things

You matter. Your needs matter. What you bring to the world is uniquely yours - and I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover your sense of self.

Working together

I offer weekly or bi-weekly sessions either in person in Exeter or online. Both of my therapy rooms are quiet, comfortable, and designed to feel safe and soothing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

A final note
Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to managing things alone. If you’re reading this and something inside you is saying “maybe it’s time,” I’m here to offer a steady, compassionate space where you don’t have to hold everything by yourself.
