About me
I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist (MA, HIP Dip) working in private practice with over 18's since 2018.
For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in the layers of the human experience - the longing and belonging; the love and the hate; the hope and the fear - and fascinated by our enduring drive to survive. In my therapy room I create an empathic, unconditional and authentic attitude, responding to the individual sitting in front of me, trying to ensure the best opportunity for growth and understanding.
Being trained 'integratively' means that I am able to draw on a variety of theories, helping you to gain understanding around your thought processes, as well as those of feeling and behaviour. We will also consider how your past might be shaping your present and, slowly but surely, as your self-awareness and compassion grows, so will your internal landscape and emotional weather. It's about cultivating a curious and compassionate lens through which to view your present and historical experience, supporting you in creating a more intentional and desirable future.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a FREE 15-minute introductory call, which will give me an idea of what you are looking for and whether I might be able to support you.
During this conversation we will decide whether or not to meet for an introductory session (50 minutes charged at my standard fee). This will give us an idea of whether we might be a 'good fit' for longer-term therapeutic work.
Once we have decided to work together, I will offer you a slot at the same time and place each week. The ritual of meeting regularly will help to create the relational foundations from which you can start to heal and grow. Life 'out there' will continue to roll forward, and often the same relationships and recurrent experiences will come into the room, and that's ok.
Growth is rarely linear but, as the saying goes, '"you never step in the same river twice" each session providing an opportunity to turn towards your experience whilst sitting in the eternal now. Together we will cultivate an increasingly non-judgemental lens and, a key part of my task will be to support you in the creation of a life with more intention and possibility.
My primary practice is based in a dedicated therapy room in my garden, just south of Devizes. One day a week I am based in The Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre in Old Town, Swindon.
Please let me know which might work better for you and I will see if I can help.
