About me
You may be looking for counselling because you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Relationships may feel unsafe or confusing, or you may be struggling with the impact of trauma, domestic abuse, recovery from addiction, workplace stress, burnout, or ongoing anxiety and shame.
I am an integrative, trauma informed counsellor offering online counselling across the UK. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and begin to make sense of what has happened to you.
I work with adults experiencing trauma, domestic abuse, coercive relationships, recovery from addiction, identity difficulties, low self worth, anxiety, emotional overwhelm and work place related stress or difficulties.
My approach is collaborative and grounded. I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, including person centred and trauma informed therapy.
I have also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and continue to develop this area of my practice through ongoing supervision and professional development.
Please note sessions are currently offered online across the UK
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, completed between 2018-2022. Alongside my formal training, I continue to engage in ongoing professional development, with a particular focus on trauma, recovery, identity and the impact of relationships and life experiences.
My additional training includes
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) training
- Trauma and the Body
- The Effects of Childhood Trauma
- Inner Child CPD
- Working Creatively in Counselling
- Sand Play Therapy
- ABC of Trauma Awareness
- Domestic Abuse Training
- Substance Misuse Training
I have volunteered within addiction recovery services since 2018, supporting individuals affected by addiction and recovery-related challenges. I have also volunteered within domestic abuse services as both a peer support worker and counsellor.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Therapies offered
Fees
£60.00 per session
Additional information
My fee is £60 per 50 minute session. I also offer one reduced fee space for someone on a low income or experiencing financial difficulty who would otherwise be unable to access therapy at the full fee. This is allocated based on need and availability.
Further information
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, particularly if trust, safety, or relationships have been difficult in the past. I aim to offer a calm, supportive, and non judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own space.
I offer both short term and long term counselling depending on your needs. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly at a regular time where possible.
