About me
I am an experienced counsellor supporting clients from diverse backgrounds (aged 16+). I offer a grounded presence that helps clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and supports healing and personal growth. Therapy is personal, and I recognise that coming to a counsellor can feel daunting. I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever has brought you to therapy and feel empowered and validated. Everyone's lived experience is subjective; therefore, rather than making assumptions, I remain curious about my clients’ unique experiences. Together, we can find ways to help you move forward at your own pace, whether that is towards greater authenticity in who you are or a greater capacity to make the changes you wish. We can work together on a short-term basis with clear goals or on a longer-term basis for deeper exploration. I offer online sessions via Google Meet or Zoom, providing a safe and accessible space.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am a Psychotherapeutic Integrative Counsellor. This means I have been trained in a range of modalities, which I draw on in my work with clients. I take a holistic approach tailored to my clients' needs and to the here and now. No matter what you are going through, I am here to offer personalised support as you navigate and manage life's challenges. My practice is rooted in embodying the core conditions (empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard) and is committed to helping each client feel genuinely heard and valued. I aspire to create an environment that upholds the BACP's values, principles, and guidelines. At the heart of my work is the belief that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is both reparative and transformative.
From first-hand experience, I know that finding the right counsellor is crucial to the therapeutic process. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help determine whether working together is the right fit for you. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work with various charity organisations, offering low-cost counselling services to individuals. I continually develop my competence through ongoing training, reflective practices, and supervision.
