MSc MBACP Person Centred Therapist and Counsellor

About me

Hi! I’m Rosanna and I’m a 28-year-old Person Centred Therapist.

I have experienced the transformative journey of transitioning from feeling unfulfilled, insecure and unhappy to feeling content, confident and leading a life full of joy. It is an absolute honour to facilitate and be a part of this journey for my clients too.

People describe me as kind, perceptive and easy to talk to. My approach is trauma-informed and I offer a safe space for those in LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and marginalised communities - and know that our world is not always a kind place. I work with a broad range of issues and have a particular interest in working with: anxiety, confidence struggles and relationship breakdowns.

I offer a space where you can be your truest self, without judgement. My aim is to help you to get to the root of any difficulties you may be facing. Through helping you to understand, accept and express yourself, I hope to help you to build a life that feels aligned to you. I strive to be gentle but transparent, and will always allow you as the client to direct the pace and direction of the counselling.

As a Person-Centred Therapist, I believe that each individual is the expert in themselves - in knowing what lights them up, what they need and what feels wrong. I seek to help you to reconnect with yourself and to build trust in yourself and your instincts.

I love learning and growing as a person and continually ensure my practice is supported by the most up to date discoveries and research.

Doing the work to heal the parts of you that hurt can be hard, but it can be enlightening, rewarding and enjoyable too. I would love to be a part of this journey with you!

I offer a free 20 minute call to see if I feel like a good fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
