About me
I'm a therapist based in Bebington, Wirral. I work with individual adults in-person, online, and by telephone.
I specialise in working with anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I help people learn how to better regulate their emotions, understand their past, navigate life transitions, and improve their relationships.
Some issues I can help with include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Low self-esteem
- Relational trauma
- Abuse and neglect
- Incest
- Stress and burnout
- Relationship issues
- Suicide & bereavement
I welcome enquiries from all clients, but I have particular experience of working with young adults and people involved in the creative industries. Many of my clients are recovering from difficult childhoods and are learning how to move on with their lives, careers and relationships
If we work together you will find a space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you, whether that's something happening now or something that happened in the past. Everything is confidential, and I will not judge you, or try to push you in a certain direction. Instead, we'll go at a pace you're comfortable with and will find solutions together.
I offer a free initial session to all clients, so you can try therapy before deciding if it's right for you. At the initial session we'll talk a bit about what you'd like to get out of counselling, how we might work together, and I can answer any questions you have.
If you're ready to book a free initial session, or if you'd like an informal phone chat first, just drop me an email or a message and we'll arrange a time to speak.

Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Liverpool John Moore's University, as well as further qualifications in:
- Trauma Informed Counselling
- Online and Telephone Counselling
- Safeguarding Adults
- Relational Depth
Like all therapists I engage in continued professional development, to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
Before working as a therapist I had a career working as a musician and technician in live music and visual arts. I studied at LIPA, have toured as a musician, and have extensive experience working with artists and other creatives. For more information please visit my website.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
