About me
Hi, I'm Rhiannon. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, health concerns, grief, or something else, I aim to help you find the tools and self-belief to manage your feelings with confidence beyond the counselling room. I also have significant experience supporting people affected by cancer, and an interest in working with people managing long-term health conditions.
I'm an Integrative Counsellor. My core approach is Person-Centred Therapy, creating a safe, empathetic, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Alongside this, I draw on a range of therapeutic techniques where helpful for you. These may include considering how past experiences shape present patterns, working with unhelpful thinking habits, and exploring attachment and inner child themes. I also use trauma-informed principles such as grounding techniques and the Window of Tolerance to support emotional regulation and a sense of safety within the work.
If you'd like to work together, please email me via my directory profile with an outline of what's brought you to counselling and your availability for sessions. You can also book a free 30 minute initial consultation/intro call through my profile. I look forward to hearing from you!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I'm currently offering a free initial consultation session (approximately 30 minutes). This gives us both an opportunity to decide whether we are a good fit to work together.
During the consultation, we will explore what has brought you to counselling and discuss any goals you may have. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about counselling, my approach, or how we might work together.
If we both feel that counselling with me would be beneficial, we can arrange your first session, which will include a more detailed assessment. Sessions are 50 minutes and are delivered on a 1:1 basis.
If, following the initial consultation, I feel that I am unable to offer the most appropriate support for your needs, I will be happy to signpost you to a counsellor or service that may be better suited to help.
