About me
Hi, I’m Renata, I offer online counselling for people living abroad who are looking for support to:
- feel better, restore or maintain their emotional wellness abroad
- find professional confidence again
- find peace in their relationships
- navigate challenges of being a cross-culture young adult
The most rewarding thing about my work is witnessing a client walk away lighter, starting to believe in their strengths again, making the changes they wish for, being kinder to themselves, and regaining hope for the future.
How I work
In the sessions with me, we’ll unpack what’s bothering you, make sense of your experience, you will learn helpful tools, figure things out and restore confidence in yourself.
Clients tell me that working with me is gently challenging and that I offer a safe, understanding, and productive space.
Who I work with
Most of my clients are women living abroad or young adults TCKs leaving their parent’s homes and navigating all aspects of becoming cross-cultural adults.
Some clients come for a more profound healing journey. Others, for more focused work on one aspect of their lives, like career decisions, some specific relationship difficulty, or after an overwhelming life event.
I have a special interest in working with people who lost a loved one far away and now are struggling to process the loss and grief from a distance.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
