Renata Carlet - Integrative Counsellor, Registered MBACP, Dip TC, Cert Cs.
Hi. Thank you for visiting my profile.
I am very passionate about supporting and empowering those who are going through difficult times.
I am a registered, experienced counsellor and my aim is to help you to overcome your challenges, whatever they may be. Working with me can give you an opportunity to talk about your thoughts and experiences in a trusting, confidential and caring environment.
I am offering you a safe place where you can feel comfortable to share your difficulties, a space where you can explore and identify your current and underlying problems, explore your options and coping strategies and feel heard.
I am experienced at working with clients of different ages, diverse cultures and ethical backgrounds facing numerous challenges.
Over the years, I have worked with clients that feel lonely, depressed, anxious, stressed, panicky, stuck, angry, lack self-esteem and those who have no energy or desire to face daily tasks.
I have also worked with clients who find it difficult to deal with painful past experiences, bereavement, loss or relationship/family/work issues.
I work in a non-judgemental, confidential, accepting way, offering an approach to suit your own experiences, giving you the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings around issues which are personal to you. I will carefully listen, support you and help you to make sense of what happened or is currently happening in your life. Together we can explore your options and coping strategies.
I am here to empower you to move forward in your life, feel better about yourself and your circumstances, enjoy your life and fully fulfil your potential.
As an Integrative counsellor, I draw on a wide range of counselling techniques. I integrate these into my work to your benefit.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I follow their Ethical Code of Practice.
Further information about me and how I work can be found on my website in addition to some frequently asked questions.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like further information or if you would like to book a session. Feel free to contact me directly by phone, email or via my website.

£40-£60 per 50 minutes session (depending on clients income and circumstances).
Our initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get a sense of each other. It gives you a space to talk about an issue that is currently causing you difficulties. It is also an opportunity for me to learn something of your personal history and for you to decide if you would like to work with me.
You are under no obligation to continue beyond the first appointment.
For more information or to book a session please contact me by email or phone. Alternatively, submit the form above with your name and phone number and I will contact you.

A session is 50 minutes long and begins at the time booked. Sessions are normally arranged on a weekly basis, at the same time and at the same place, but I offer some flexibility for those whose patterns of work or life are changeable.
I offer both short term (up to 12 sessions) and long term (open ended) counselling.
You are free to stop therapy at the time you choose. Notice of at least two weeks should normally be given before ending therapy, so we can review our work together and have an appropriate and safe ending.
An appointment missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
As well as my counselling qualification and experience I have also a background in delivering parenting courses/workshops with the focus on positive parenting and tips on how to make parenting more enjoyable and less stressful.
