About me
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, feeling emotionally exhausted, or struggling to cope with the pressures of everyday life. If this sounds familiar, please know that you don’t have to face it alone.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, work-related challenges, relationship and family difficulties, low self-esteem, and the lasting effects of difficult childhood experiences. Often, people come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected from themselves, or confused by their reactions—whether that’s anger, withdrawal, self-doubt, or a sense of being emotionally overwhelmed.
Alongside my professional training, I also recognise the value of lived experience. I understand that emotional distress, life challenges, and personal struggles are not just clinical terms; they are deeply human experiences that can affect confidence, relationships, identity, and the way we see ourselves. My own lived experience also informs the way I work, helping me approach therapy with empathy, humility, and genuine respect for each person’s unique story.
My approach is warm, supportive, and non-judgemental. Together, we will explore what’s happening for you in a safe and confidential space where you can speak openly and honestly. There is no pressure to have all the answers. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, helping you gain greater understanding of yourself, recognise unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping.
Therapy can offer the opportunity to feel heard, understood, and supported while making meaningful changes that improve your wellbeing and quality of life. My aim is to help you build confidence, resilience, and a stronger connection with yourself so that you can move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
I primarily offer online therapy, providing flexibility and convenience around your existing commitments.
If you're considering therapy but aren't quite sure where to begin, that's completely okay. Taking the first step can often feel the hardest. You are welcome to get in touch for an informal conversation about your needs and how I may be able to support you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
