About me

Welcome to my profile.

Dealing with your problems alone can be extremely challenging, stressful and isolating, putting further strain on yourself and your mental health. I’d like to help so that together, we can address your needs and give you the tools to make real, positive, lasting change.

So many people sleepwalk through life, never asking themselves what they really want or need to be happy, usually going along with what other people want/need from them. Sadly, in doing so, they often end up feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, bitter or resentful of what could have been... but it's not too late.

I’m here to help you on your way to wherever you need/want to be in life, in relationships, in your career, or anything else that would make you feel happier, more fulfilled and like you’re in control of your life.

Choosing the right counsellor and feeling safe within that relationship is paramount to the success of therapy, so I encourage you to shop around and make sure your needs fit with the right practitioner.

Please have a look at my experience and history to find out if we could be the right fit for each other.

I qualified as a Person Centred Therapist in September 2022, and since then, I've worked with clients of various ages, religions, backgrounds, identities and ethnicities, and I believe that no matter who you are, it's never too late to try and feel better, work on yourself, or understand yourself more. Therapy is for everyone, not just "for people who really need it."

Additional information

I understand how expensive counselling can be, especially if you're looking for weekly sessions. I want to make counselling more accessible for people during this cost of living crisis, therefore, I have a sliding scale for payment.

My standard rate is £60 per 60 minute session, but I could go as low as £30 per session for people who really need it e.g. students, carers for disabled people, or unemployed people. Just get in touch and we may be able to negotiate a fee that is more affordable for you.

My practice is situated in the garden of my home in Blaby, Leicester, so there’s no need to worry about parking fees or having a session in a clinical room.

Further information

I’m aware that some practitioners have started to incorporate AI into their practices, so I would like to declare that I do not, and will not ever use any A.I as part of my practice, record-keeping or note-taking as it undoubtedly compromises your process, privacy and security. I assure you, your information is always safe with me, and stored in line with GDPR.
