About me
You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like your mind won’t switch off. You may know exactly what you need to do, but still can’t seem to start, leaving you frustrated, exhausted, and hard on yourself.
You don’t need the right words or a clear starting point. We can begin with whatever feels most present for you.
You might relate to this if:
- Your mind feels constantly busy or overwhelmed
- You struggle to start or finish tasks
- You feel stuck, even when things matter to you
- You are hard on yourself or feel you “should be coping better”
- You are exploring whether you might have ADHD
You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. Therapy can help you:
- Feel less overwhelmed
- Understand how your mind works
- Be less hard on yourself
- Find ways to manage stress that work for you
- Feel more at ease in yourself
- Not feel so alone in what you’re going through
I work with people experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, low mood, and feeling overwhelmed by life. I also support clients who are exploring ADHD - whether that’s a recent diagnosis, something you’ve been wondering about, or making sense of experiences later in life.
Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience of ADHD. This means I understand not only the theory, but the day-to-day reality of overwhelm, mental noise, and the frustration of finding everyday things harder than they seem for others.
I offer a calm, grounded space where you can be yourself without pressure or judgement. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from different approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. Some people need space to talk and feel heard; others want practical ways to manage anxiety or understand how their mind works. Most people benefit from a combination of both.
My approach is honest, calm, and grounded. I believe therapy works best when you can be your authentic self, rather than feeling the need to get things “right”. This is a space where you don’t have to mask, perform, or hold everything together.
I believe people don’t need fixing - they need understanding, safety, and space to make sense of their experiences. Meaningful change often begins when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling from Heartwood Counselling and Psychotherapy, alongside a Level 3 Foundation Certificate and Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor at Hamoaze House in Plymouth, supporting individuals with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
My experience also includes supporting clients through organisations such as Samaritans, Childline, and the Bereavement Counselling Service, including work with distress, crisis, and emotional overwhelm.
I have also completed additional professional development, including work around bereavement and loss.

Further information
I offer sessions both online and in person from a private therapy room in Plymstock. The space is separate from the main living area of my home, is on the ground floor, and includes access to a private toilet.
I offer flexible appointments, including daytime, evening, and weekend sessions.
I also offer a free 15–20 minute initial call via phone or video. This gives us a chance to briefly talk through what you’re looking for and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
